So we've seen some massive damage to the credibility of the Murdoch empire, the resignations of not one but two senior policemen and now LulzSec claim to be about to release an email stash taken from News Internationals servers.

All in all I'd say it's been a good week for democracy, accountability and serious luls :)

Kinda says it all in the title. Rupert Murdoch, scumbag, media monopolist, the sad sack of shit that owns Fox 'News' and more notably given the current scandal over here, News of the World, is trying to buy out BskyB. Murdoch already owns 40% of UK television media and currently Jeremy Hunt, our so-called Culture (fuck me, really?!) secretary is apparently quite happy to give this piece of shit a near complete monopoly.

Loathe as I am to put my faith in e-petitions it's worth a try so go to Avaaz.org and sign up to put your voice forward against this travesty against fair media in the UK.
